” Start a business based on demand. Don’t start thinking ‘I think this will sell’. You should know people need this. “

Our guest today is Aderonke Odumosu an amazing business woman. She is a successful entrepreneur with 9 years plus experience in the juicing industry she also has a passion and successful track record for building healthypreneurs and wellnesspreneurs.

Since inception in 2018 Juicingtoprofit has trained over 1000 people and helped them successfully kick-start their business with 80% success rate.

Prior to starting juicingtoprofit in Nigeria Aderonke had a background in Corporate Finance and Business Development. With a BA degree from University of Bradford in the Uk, MSc from City university Uk and having worked at Nestle Uk, Goldman Sachs in different business development and finance capacity.

Aderonke has been able to use these transferable skills and extensive experience accrued over the years from running her cafe as well as working in different financial capacity to help budding entrepreneurs in Nigeria kick-start their juicing/ healthy meal business and  essentially help them juice to profit.

She transitioned from selling smoothies to training people on how to make smoothies. She noticed that after training, a lot of her students were asking for equipments, she saw an opportunity  in the market for cold pressing equipment in Nigeria so she started importing cold pressing equipments.

Once equipment supply for her students were covered, the next opportunity she saw was providing them with unique bottles to enhance their packaging.

Her candid advice for people in business is that they need to pay attention to their prices as a lot of people don’t know how to price their products. People need to know their break-even margin in order to remain in business
